BIS have cancelled the licencing for a floating armoury

It is understood from a Linked in article that BIS have cancelled the licensing for a floating armoury for the first time.

The article states the reason behind this particular licence being cancelled is due to the operator entering Sudan and by doing so breaching UN weapons embargoes.

ASKET has previously warned ship owners of this practice and removed or failed PMSCs from our preferred supplier list for suspected breaches.

For advice on this or other compliance issues please contact ASKET, we will continue to follow the story.
