Description: A merchant vessel reported being followed by a speedboat at 3-5 cables.

The crew suspect there are five persons on board.

MDAT-GoG confirmed that ladders were sighted on board the speedboat during its approach towards a merchant vessel.

A helicopter participating in a search and rescue exercise forced the speedboat to abandon its approach. The helicopter tracked the suspicious speedboat for 30 minutes.
